Right Standing With God...

Updated: Aug 11

"Who may abide in your tabernacle?

Who may live on your holy mountain?

He who walks uprightly

And works righteousness

And speaks the truth in his heart."

Psalm 15:1, 2

What is God saying to you from this passage? Listen—His Word speaks. I am hearing there is no way I can entertain sin and be in right standing with God. He requires holiness. Purity.

How can we have clean hands and a pure heart? How can we be as innocent as children? We can't—unless we abide in Him and He in us. Without Him we can do nothing—nothing of any eternal value. We can never be perfect—we will never walk uprightly—never work righteousness—never speak the truth in our hearts without God’s enabling and the empowering of His Holy Spirit.

There's nothing we can do but accept the forgiveness freely offered in Christ and ask Him to create clean hearts in us. He wants us to become as innocent and trusting as little children."...Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven". Matthew 18:3 Trust Him. He loves you. Blessings, Beloved.

About Me

Rena was born a block away from a fascinating tide pool in Vancouver, British Columbia. (She loves tide pools, painting, reading, writing...)

She has been an  Elementary and High School teacher for 18 years -- is married and has for adult children --and has had the amazing opportunity to travel the globe as an Ambassador with the Department of Eternal Affairs.

Rena began writing her story -- one of rejection, betrayal, and healing from brokenness -- while sitting under a mosquito net in China. Two years later she put all the scribbly notes together at a guest house in Haifa, Israel. "A Life Set Free" was born.

"Bubs Bunny Goes to Camp", "Mommy & Baby's Journal", and her latest book -- "MANHUNT"-- Book 1 in "The Narrow Path Trilogy" -- are available on Amazon.

God took an abandoned, fearful child and is using her life to show the impossible is possible when our lives are surrendered to Him. He can do more than we ask or think. She sincerely hopes this blog blesses and encourages you. Blessings, Beloved.
