While writing my new book, Transhuman, a very round baby raccoon was sniffing boots in the corner of the room. Johnny Cash gave up trying to nip my toes cause it startled him too much when I screamed. Staying with my friend was a huge blessing. I am so thankful she let me hide in her beautiful home until the storm in my life calmed. It was hilarious how she tried to look patient when I interrupted her reading Manhunt- Only the Strong Survive. Her eyes said, “Please hurry up and go away so I can read!” Her ravings about my first book in The Narrow Path Trilogy were a blessing and an encouragement.
When my friend read the second book, Transhuman-Will We Obey God or Play God? she wrote her thoughts. "When a writer can take topics that are so beyond mortal comprehension, and explain them in such a way that they not only become understandable, but also relatable, that is more than skillful writing. That is Divine intervention. This book was that to me. I pray that will be the case for many others to come, both current believers, and believers-to-be alike." Kim Bushong wrote, "Just so you know, your writing has God’s glory all over it! It is incredible. I had God bumps with each chapter I read. I am so excited for the lives this book will touch." How cool is that, right?
Didn't Randi Gammons design a beautiful cover? Transhuman takes you on a journey through the dark midpoint days of the of the Tribulation. This work of fiction is based on reality. It is a warning based on God’s Word. He has told us of a time of unprecedented terror that is about to come upon the Earth. His wrath will be poured out on sinful and unrepentant humanity in a series of judgements. The intensity and severity of these judgements will be unparalleled in human history. The judgements will be on a global scale that will take place over a seven-year period.
Follow Josh as he comes up against an apocalyptic world of terrorism, genetic engineering, transhumanism, artificial intelligence, and deception in the church. Through the imagery of the seals and the trumpets of Revelation, God has revealed the terrible reality of the Antichrist’s reign and the wrath to come. A burning question Josh poses is, "Will We Obey God or Play God?"
The judgements are reserved for those who chose to reject Christ and missed the Rapture. Even in wrath, God displays mercy. He wants the lost to be found. All who rebelled against Him are still being given a chance to find Him. This is His last and final call to the sons and daughters of Adam. One day time will be no more, and it will be too late.
What does God show little Juliet in her dreams about the thousand years of peace to come? Travel with Rachel as she courageously rescues her daughter from a child-sex trafficking prison and risks leading an underground church. What is the cost to follow Christ?
Sadly, many will harden their hearts and turn away from the most beautiful invitation ever to have been extended in all of human history. They will curse God and stay entrenched in their rebellious ways. God didn’t hide this awful reality from us. He warns us to be wise and flee from the wrath to come. If we are already His, He wants us to point others to the narrow path that leads to life.
Time will soon be no more. The curtains are closing on the world stage. Come… Blessings, Beloved of God.
