All That Really Matters

Updated: Jul 17

One day, maybe soon, you will take your last breath. You don't know when that day will be. Then what? Are you gone forever? I don't think you really believe that. Eternity has been placed in your heart. "He has set eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Your last moment on Earth will be your first moment in your forever life. Where will that be? Once you take your last breath on Earth your eternal destination is irrevocably, unchangeably, forever sealed. "...between us and you a great chasm is fixed..." (Luke 16:26)

Your eternal home is totally dependent on your choices now. I am praying you have ears to hear. These are the last words we hear from a man standing in Hell. "...I beg you, Father Abraham, send Lazarus to my family. I have five brothers, and I want him to warn them so they don't end up in this place of torment." (Luke 16:28)

I believe Jesus is coming for His people -- soon. I believe it will be in our lifetime. If you don't know Him as your Savior you will be plummeted into a time of unspeakable terror. It is a time called the Great Tribulation. "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should be no flesh saved..." (Matthew 24:21-22)

After the church has been caught up to be with the LORD, you still have a chance to repent and turn to Christ, but it will cost your life. The Bible says you will be beheaded, which is much less of a horror than spending eternity separated from God -- in Hell-- a place of eternal torment. "...I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands..." (Revelation 20:4)

Please get right with God now. Jesus paid for your debt of sin so you could escape the wrath to come. Please accept His offer of forgiveness and eternal life. "Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD, and not that he should turn from his ways, and live?" (Ezekiel 18:23)

If you do find yourself in the Tribulation, please do not take a mark on your right hand or forehead. That would damn you to Hell forever. "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosever recieveth the mark of his name." (Revelation 14:11)

You don't have to be here for the Tribulation. Just admit you are a sinner. We are all born sinners. Our only hope for change is accepting that Jesus died in our place -- for our sin. Accept His offer -- His gift -- of forgiveness and eternal life (not eternal death). "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3:10)

Repent of your sins. Unless you repent you will likewise perish. Believe Jesus is LORD. "... if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9,10)

Call upon His Name. He loves you more than you can begin to imagine. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) What will you do with Jesus' offer? This is the most important question you will ever answer. Be wise. Your answer will determine where will you spend eternity. Many Christians are praying for you. Blessings, beloved.
